1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Platform (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including players, organizers, guilds, spectators, and visitors. Additional terms may apply to specific events or features.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

2.1 Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need parental consent. Some features, including prizes, may be restricted.

2.2 Account Creation

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the security of your credentials
• Accept responsibility for activities under your account
• Notify us of unauthorized use promptly

2.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts for one person
• Sell, share, or transfer accounts
• Use automated means to create accounts
• Impersonate others or falsify information

3. Event Rules & Fair Play

3.1 Participation

When joining events, you agree to:

• Follow event-specific rules and formats
• Be available at scheduled match times
• Respect admins and rulings
• Provide accurate payment and tax information for prizes

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Cheating: Hacks, exploits, or unauthorized software
• Match Fixing: Collusion, intentional losses, or betting on your own matches
• Smurfing: Accounts used to evade skill ratings
• Boosting: Another person playing on your account
• Stream Sniping: Using broadcasts for advantage
• Attacks: DDoS or other service disruption

3.3 Anti-Cheat

You consent to reasonable anti-cheat measures, which may include memory scanning, replay capture, and hardware verification where permitted. Refusal may result in disqualification or bans.

4. User Content & Conduct

4.1 Your Content

You own your content, but grant Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and adapt it to operate and promote the Service (e.g., highlights, stats, team pages).

4.2 Community Standards

Do not post or engage in behavior that is:

• Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory
• Sexually explicit or exploitative
• Violent or threatening
• Infringing on IP rights
• Fraudulent or deceptive
• Promoting illegal activity

5. Prizes, Fees & Virtual Items

5.1 Prizes

Prizes are paid per event rules. You’re responsible for accurate details and tax documents. Taxes may be withheld where required.

5.2 Entry Fees

Some events require fees. Fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.

5.3 Virtual Currency & Items

Platform credits and items have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable unless required by law or our specific policy.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform IP

Software, designs, logos, and text are owned by Platform or licensors. Do not copy or distribute without permission.

6.2 Game IP

Games remain the property of their publishers and are subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

7.1 Availability

We target high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or suspend features at any time.

7.2 Limitation

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Platform IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA.

7.3 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Platform harmless from claims arising out of your use, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Informal Resolution

8.2 Arbitration

Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. This survives termination.

8.3 Class Action Waiver

You waive participation in class or representative actions.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that should survive will survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue is in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. Continued use means acceptance.
